We are the Maritimes’ only John Deere Dealership with 15 locations to serve you.
We are looking for a skilled, dedicated person to fill the position of Social Media Coordinator at our Summerside, PEI location.
We are in search of someone who is passionate about all things digital, has a keen eye for detail, and can think creatively to engage our audience. If you are a self-starter with strong communication skills and a love for social media, we want you on our team!

EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

1+ years social media content creation experience or similar role
Knowledgeable in Agriculture and /or powersports industries preferred
In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, tools, best practices, and analytics and reporting
Proven experience in video content creation and social media management.
Proficient in basic video editing software for creating short-form content
Excellent storytelling skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Confident and professional on-camera presence.
High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Flexible availability
Valid Driver’s License required

Hours: 40 hrs/week
Salary Range: $38,000/yr-$43,000/yr

PURPOSE:

This position will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging content across various social media platforms. They will be responsible for developing and implementing our social media strategy to increase brand awareness and drive engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and create engaging content for various social media platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, and YouTube
Schedule and upload content to various social media channels, ensuring consistency with the brand’s voice and style.
Monitor comments and messages on social media platforms, responding promptly when necessary
Track metrics and provide monthly reports on the performance of social media content
Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm content ideas and develop strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement
Collaborate with the team to align social media campaigns with overall marketing goals
Analyze social media data to optimize performance
Research industry trends and stay up to date on relevant news and updates to develop timely and relevant content
Utilize design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite to create visually appealing graphics that align with brand guidelines
Available to assist with our events, and capture video and still photography content
Available to travel between our 15 dealerships throughout the Maritime provinces
Other marketing related duties as required
