Description:

This role will typically find you working alongside different internal and external stakeholders to implement social media campaigns and be integral in ensuring consistency of campaign messaging and company values across platforms and markets. The ideal candidate will be passionate about growing awareness of our brand and products by increasing online engagement in a contemporary and creative way, whilst still retaining the traditional heritage of our brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Co-ordinate and create social media content: This includes all written, video, and photo content for Walker’s social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X, Tiktok, Google+, Pinterest and LinkedIn
  • Collaborating with agencies: Work alongside our key digital and design partners to provide attractive and informative social media campaigns
  • Scheduling of all brand social media content: Across all platforms
  • Support the brand with social media community management: Both outbound (comment on other brand posts) and inbound (Interact with users and respond to social media messages, inquiries, and comments)
  • Review and support Global Markets: Onboard new global markets onto our social media platforms as well as review, update and approve all global market social media planners
  • Social media calendars: Collaborate with Marketing Team to create a social media calendar with the support of the Digital Manager
  • Maintain unified brand voice: Across different social media channels and ensure all content produced is consistent with company brand values and ethics
  • Monitor social media channels: For industry trends and updates on technologies used in social media
  • Review analytics and create reports: Based upon key KPI’s and metrics specific to social media and the wider business using Google Analytics and in channel data
  • Support social media/influencer plans: Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy/plans as well as the implementation of these plans
