Description:

We are seeking a talented and driven Social Media Executive to manage our presence on My Little Red Book (Xiaohongshu), a leading Chinese social media. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging content, analysing metrics, and developing strategies to increase our followers and improve engagement rates, tailored specifically to the Chinese market.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Executive or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of My Little Red Book (Xiaohongshu) platform, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese (Mandarin).
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms specific to the Chinese market.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content.
  • sStrong organiational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva.
  • Familiarity with video editing software.
  • Experience with social media advertising and campaign management.

Responsibilities:

Content Creation & Management:

  • Develop, curate, and schedule high-quality, engaging content tailored for My Little Red Book (Xiaohongshu).
  • Create and manage a content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns, product launches, and company events.
  • Collaborate with the design team to produce visually appealing graphics and videos that resonate with the Chinese audience.
  • Collaborate with other marketing executives to re-purpose existing content from other platforms to cater to My Little Red Book’s audience.

Strategy Development:

  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and website traffic.
  • Monitor and analyse social media trends and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Create and execute social media advertising campaigns to reach target audiences.

Community Management:

  • Engage with followers, respond to comments and messages, and manage online discussions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and maintain relationships with influencers and brand ambassadors on My Little Red Book to enhance brand loyalty and reach.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track and analyse social media performance metrics using tools
  • Prepare and present regular reports on social media activities, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
  • Use insights from data to adjust strategies and improve overall performance.

Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to ensure social media activities are integrated with broader marketing initiatives.Collaborate with other departments to gather content ideas and ensure consistent brand messaging.
