WHAT YOU’LL NEED
We’re looking for someone who has experience in creating short-form videos, has strong writing skills, a passion for social media and loves to work as part of a team. Being proactive and having excellent communication skills is an important part of this job.
Additionally, you’ll be:
- ideally educated to degree or equivalent level, preferably in marketing, communications, or related field – but we’d still love to hear from people with lots of experience who don’t have the education background
- experienced in planning and creating social media content using video and photography
- experienced of using camera equipment to film, edit and create social media videos in particular for TikTok and Instagram
- experienced in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Photoshop and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- advanced knowledge of social media platforms and functions (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and X - previously Twitter) and a knowledge of how to use insight and algorithms to your advantage
- a creative thinker and problem solver with strong attention to detail
- flexible and engaging with your writing style and have great proofreading skills.
A clean full driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities:
Working closely with our Social Media Manager, you’ll play a vital role in communicating key messages, protecting reputation, and working on strategic PR campaigns, where you’ll be creating a mix of engaging multimedia content.
You’ll be responsible for creating short-form videos and educational social media posts that resonate with our customers across different social media platforms.
It’s a fast-moving role, so you’ll need to be agile, able to multi-task and prioritise work in a timely nature.
Other key work areas include:
- being responsible for planning and producing content for regularly scheduled posts across all social media channels
- self-shooting and editing photography and video content ensuring multiple versions are optimised for each channel
- working closely with our creative teams to manage the creation of graphics and visual assets from brief to posting
- keeping up with the latest social media trends and bringing forward ideas that align with the company and meet objectives
- developing and maintaining excellent relationships with teams across the business to make sure we’re keeping customers up to date with the latest news
- driving engagement with our customers and other stakeholders through community management and responses where appropriate
- working with the Social Media Manager to put in place learnings from video analytics and monthly social media reports
- working with the Social Media Manager to develop a social strategy with the aim to grow brand awareness, increase engagement and drive traffic from our social media channels.
