Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a Marketing Specialist and Social Content Creator in translating brand and marketing objectives into strategic channel plans that align to the Canada Goose brand architecture and established social media playbook
  • Coach and develop two (2) direct reports in their career progression, including ownership over all formal review processes and feedback
  • Manage external agency partner in the ongoing implementation of the CG social media playbook and support Brand team in the development of campaign strategies as it relates to social media requirements
  • Work cross functionally with all marketing lanes, digital, ecomm, and regional teams in providing the appropriate level of both proactive and reactive support across brand social channels
  • Oversee global editorial calendar and work closely with key regional social stakeholders to ensure regional content is accounted for
  • Oversee creative development process of global content for all social media channels (video, imagery and copy) with internal, freelance and / or agency partners
  • Manage the ongoing reporting, measurement and insights of all social media channels and are able to translate these insights into executive-level share outs
  • Responsible for upholding brand strategy and creative direction, as well as product and category positioning of campaigns, pushing innovative thinking while balancing brand and commercial needs and driving revenue.
  • Manage the budget allocated to the creation and execution of each social media campaign, leading financial forecasts, tracking and reporting to ensure financial objectives are met
  • Proactively contribute creative marketing ideas for social media initiatives and special projects
