Description:

CrossFit is looking to hire a Social Media Manager to join our Marketing Team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing CrossFit’s social media strategy. You will also oversee CrossFit’s social media presence, driving engagement, and developing innovative campaigns to enhance the brand.

KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILL:

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful social media campaigns.
  • Ability to be an effective decision-maker in high-pressure situations
  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g. Iconik, Google Drive), and SMM platforms (e.g. Sprinklr, Khoros, Later).
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • The discipline, flexibility, and self-starter mentality required to work as part of a high-performing, distributed team
  • Passion for fitness and a genuine interest in the CrossFit community and industry.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in social media management, preferably within the sports or health and fitness industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy:
  • Execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the overall marketing objectives and brand goals.
  • Lead the development of integrated social media campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion.
  • Stay updated on evolving industry trends and emerging social media platforms to keep the company at the forefront of innovation.
  • Content Development & Management
  • Oversee the creation of compelling and on-brand content for various social media platforms.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all social channels.
  • Utilize data and analytics to optimize content performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Community Engagement
  • Foster a strong and engaged community across social media platforms, responding to comments, messages, and mentions promptly and positively.
  • Implement strategies to encourage user-generated content and community participation.
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Utilize analytics tools to measure the performance of social media campaigns and provide detailed reports to key stakeholders.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies to improve social media metrics continuously.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content creation, and product development, to ensure social media strategies align with overall business objectives.
  • Work closely with influencers and partners to amplify the brand’s reach and impact.
