As the Social Media Manager at Epicure, you will bring your experience to lead and execute our social media, mobile, and digital marketing strategies. You’ll be responsible for shaping Epicure’s digital presence and staying ahead of emerging platforms, technologies and trends in the social media landscape.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Educational Background: Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Digital Initiative Experience: Demonstrated experience in launching and managing digital initiatives, such as personal blogs or social media followings.
  • Passion for Industry: Enthusiasm for food, health, and wellness, and active engagement on social media platforms.
  • Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to influence, facilitate, and manage diverse stakeholders, achieving cohesive outcomes that align with business goals.
  • Direct Sales Experience: Previous experience with a Direct Sales model or consumer packaged goods is an asset.
  • Bilingual Skills: Fluency in English and French is considered an asset.
  • Adaptability: Ability to embrace change and deliver results within tight deadlines.
    Job Type: Full-time
    Location: Hybrid- Must be able to film at our facilities in North Saanich
    Salary Range: $55,000-$70,000
    Compensation will be based on the candidate skills, education, experience and qualifications. This compensation information is provided in accordance with the BC Pay Transparency Act. Is is an estimate based on what a BC applicant might be paid. Similar positions located outside of British Columbia will not necessarily receive the same compensation.

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Strategy: Lead the development and execution of Epicure’s social media strategy, ensuring alignment with overall business and marketing objectives
  • Content Development: Design, manage, and curate content for a comprehensive digital marketing editorial calendar, producing highly engaging posts tailored for each platform.
  • Community Management: Cultivate and manage vibrant, interactive social communities, both internally and externally
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on engagement metrics using advanced tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, and other industry-standard platforms to optimize performance
  • Campaign Management: Develop and oversee unique promotional campaigns, including social media contests, ensuring they align with the broader promotional strategy and calendar
  • Influencer & Partnership Engagement: Identify key industry influencers and manage partnership opportunities to amplify brand reach
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to integrate social media, website, and other digital initiatives into a cohesive brand narrative
  • Creative Asset Management: Film, Edit and Execute. Oversee the creation and publication of digital marketing assets, particularly video content, and assess their effectiveness
