• Experience in content creation – pre, mid and postproduction
• Excellent copywriting skills
• In touch with the gen z and millennial audience
• Experience in managing direct reports
• Proficient in video and photo editing
• Advanced in using reporting tools
• Experience using community management tools

ROLE OVERVIEW

Social media is a key strategic pillar for ghd, operating within the Media Model of Owned, Earned and Paid. This role will have a focus on the brand’s global Owned social output, sitting within the Social/Influencer team and working closely alongside the Paid Social & Brand Marketing Teams.
The Social Media Manager responsibilities will include social media strategies for key launches, organising the creation of and deploying always-on social media assets, utilisation of tools including Sprinklr to report to key stakeholders and briefing content creators.
Based in London, this role has global responsibility and will require the candidate to be a social media expert and go-to for ghd’s international markets.
