Description:

IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Proven Social Media Experience: Demonstrated success in managing and scaling social platforms for brands, ideally in the outdoor, adventure, or consumer goods sectors.
  • Creative Storyteller: Passion for crafting engaging and visually compelling campaigns that enhance KPIs and align with the brand’s adventurous and customer-centric ethos.
  • Data-Driven Approach: Strong analytical skills to develop strategies, monitor campaign performance, and optimise processes based on insights.
  • Customer-Centric: Ability to understand the outdoor enthusiasts journey and needs, especially in the context of roof tents and adventure travel whilst having a clear sense of the wider audience that we are opening up to TentBox.
  • Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and campaigns simultaneously, with strong attention to detail and timelines.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong communication skills to work cross-functionally with content, performance, events teams and the wider company.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of social media strategy, with a track record of creating, curating, and managing content across all major social platforms to drive engagement, increase traffic, and grow our vibrant community of TentBoxers. You will also be responsible for monitoring performance metrics and delivering regular reports to inform and refine our strategy throughout the year.
You will work closely with our in-house content and performance teams to craft cohesive, high-impact campaigns that resonate with our audience. Your efforts will play a key role in achieving ambitious growth goals for 2025, including entering new markets and expanding our core communities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strategy and planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions. Set clear goals for each channel, define target audiences, and ensure alignment with overall marketing objectives.
  • Scheduling and Posting: Develop and oversee a detailed content calendar with posts for product launches, seasonal promotions, user-generated content campaigns and community initiatives.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor performance metrics such as reach, impressions, clicks, and conversions. Deliver actionable insights through regular reporting and refine strategies based on data-driven analysis to improve results over time.
  • Community Engagement: Cultivate and grow an active online community of outdoor enthusiasts worldwide. Engage with followers, respond to questions and feedback, and maintain a strong brand presence.
  • Collaboration and Oversight: Partner closely with the content team to provide direction on brand tone, campaign themes, and specific content needs. Approve content drafts and ensure all outputs align with brand messaging, goals, and the adventurous spirit of TentBox.
  • Trendspotting and Ideation: Stay on top of social media trends, outdoor culture, and industry developments. Bring fresh ideas to life by leveraging trending outdoor challenges, memes, or cultural moments to promote TentBox in authentic and creative ways.
