WHAT DOES A GREAT SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER DO?
Travelport is looking for a creative social media marketer that can execute on standout ideas We’re a B2B brand with a B2C way of thinking – we’re all human at the end of the day. The ideal candidate will be someone who likes to dig further into understanding objectives, positioning and what makes our target market tick, before jumping into tactics. You will execute on your own creative ideas and work with an inhouse and agency creative team that just picked up awards at the Shortys, The Drum and a Cannes Lions 2024 nomination.
This role is an integral part of how we engage with customers, prospects, staff and the wider market.

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Executing a killer social media strategy, with day-to-day delivery of content built for each channel.
- Managing social media content calendar across LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, & Facebook.
- Creation and implementation of social media campaigns in answer to inhouse briefs from brand and marketing managers
- Copywriting, production and execution on ideas in line with brand tone of voice and positioning. Working together with copywriters, designers and campaign teams to ensure high quality content creation.Producing regular reports and insights for marketing and creative teams that ladders back to objectives, positioning and targeting.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN THIS ROLE:
- Experience in B2C/B2B social media roles delivering highly engaging content
- Experience as Social Media specialist in tech projects, with a genuine enthusiasm and interest in technology or SaaS industries and brands
- Experience in building and executing social strategies for marketing campaigns
- Hands-on experience in daily social media management, from development of SM event calendars using project management tools (like Airtable/Monday), through to briefing of content creation and performance measurement.
- Fluency in English
