HE KŌRERO MŌU | ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a strategic, data-driven, and creative thinker who lives and breathes social media. You will have a strong understanding of brand and a never-ending curiosity to uncover and tell inspiring stories.
The ideal candidate will bring solid experience in social media, marketing or communications, with experience either managing a small team or a portfolio of clients. The ability to build relationships will be key to success as will understanding and optimising customer data.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive University-wide social media strategy in collaboration with stakeholders, aligned to the University vision and integrating brand, marketing and communication priorities.
  • Define and implement the content strategy to engage with diverse audience segments with varying degrees of brand connection.
  • Build success metrics and customer-led insights to track performance and inform decision making.
  • Lead, mentor and support the social media team to deliver its goals and retain the Universities leadership position across all social media channels.
  • Build effective relationships across the University to ensure a consistent customer experience through the successful implementation and buy-in of social media strategy, policies and guidelines.
