As the Social Media Manager for Wheel the World, your mission is to enhance our brand’s presence across existing and emerging social media platforms, driving community engagement and boosting bookings through creative and inclusive content that resonates with our disabled community.

- You have exceptional communication, research, and writing skills, enabling you to craft messages that resonate and engage.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive social media calendar, including topic selection, caption creation, and timely posting across platforms.
- You have a passion for and +5 years of experience in social media management, with a creative and proactive approach to content creation.
- You possess a “break the wall” and positive mentality, always seeking innovative solutions to challenges and ways to connect deeply with the disabled community.
- You’re eager to collaborate across teams to contribute to broader strategic goals, enhancing Wheel the World’s impact and accessibility worldwide.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the social media strategy, ensuring alignment with broader marketing goals, identifying strategic opportunities and recommending improvements.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive social media calendar, including topic selection, caption creation, and timely posting across platforms.
- Oversee social media KPIs and results, seeking growth opportunities and optimizing performance with support from the Marketing team.
- Engage actively with our community by managing comments, messages, and coordinating with Travel Experts to fulfill requests initiated via social media.
- Explore and establish a presence on new social media channels, such as Pinterest, Youtube and TikTok, to expand our reach and influence.
- Stay updated on social media trends relevant to the company’s marketing activities, integrating these insights into our strategy.
