JOB DESCRIPTION

The Social Media and Marketing Coordinator develops, designs, and executes communications to promote Lymphoma Canada (LC) resources, fundraising, and awareness activities. This individual will serve as a passionate ambassador for LC, engaging new audiences and cultivating existing relationships through social media, email, print materials, and the LC website.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Social Media and Digital Marketing: 5-7 years (required)
  • SEO and Google Analytics: 5-7 years (required)
  • Web design using WordPress: 5-7 years (required)
  • Graphic design, Adobe Suite, Canva, and digital marketing assets: 5-7 years (required)
  • Fundraising Platform Panorama-Front Stream: 3-5 years (required)
  • Marketing Platform - Mailchimp: 3-5 years (required)
  • Events Organizing: 1-2 years (required)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree, bachelor’s degree, and related experience in Digital Marketing, or Computer Sciences (required).
  • 5-7 years of experience in graphic design and social media/digital marketing.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office applications proficiency.
  • Experience with fundraising databases, such as Raiser’s Edge, Mailchimp, and Artez (an asset).
  • Experience with web design using WordPress.
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image, and video).
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and Google Analytics.
  • Experience using Adobe Suite.
  • Ability to work both in a team environment and independently.
  • Flexibility to attend occasional evening and weekend events.
    Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 remote)

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with the national Director, to implement innovative communications/promotional strategies, including social media, e-communications, and targeted marketing.
  • Designing print and digital marketing assets that are on-brand and engaging for various target demographics.
  • Developing and implementing a marketing strategy that aligns with business goals.
  • Overseeing all LC social media accounts.
  • Creating engaging content (e.g., original text, photos, and videos) for LC communications.
  • Building trend reports and identifying data-driven tactics to grow LC’s reach.
  • Responding to constituent queries in a timely manner.
  • Suggesting and implementing new strategies to develop brand awareness.
  • Staying up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools, and applications.
  • Providing support as needed for thank you calls, maintaining accurate information in the RE database, and assisting with LC events.
