Job Title: Social Media Content Creator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a creative and passionate Social Media Content Creator to join our team at our vibrant beauty salon in Ilford. This role is perfect for someone who loves the beauty industry, has a keen eye for aesthetics, and is experienced in creating engaging content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook. You will be responsible for showcasing our services, creating trend-driven content, and increasing our online presence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, create, and publish high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing content for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Capture and edit photos and videos of salon services, treatments, and products.
• Develop creative campaigns to promote special offers, new services, and seasonal themes.
• Stay up-to-date with beauty trends, TikTok trends, and social media best practices.
• Interact with followers, respond to comments and messages, and foster a sense of community online.
• Monitor social media analytics to assess the success of campaigns and provide monthly performance reports.
• Collaborate with the salon team to ensure content aligns with the brand’s values and vision.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in social media content creation, particularly for Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
• Strong photography and videography skills, with experience in editing software/apps.
• Passion for beauty, hair, and wellness industries.
• Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and create viral content.
• Strong understanding of social media algorithms and how to optimise content for engagement.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work on-site and adapt to the salon’s schedule.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of beauty treatments and products.
• Experience with social media advertising tools (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager).
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or similar design tools.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £11.50 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week

Schedule:

• Flexitime
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Education:

• Bachelor’s (preferred)
