Description:

JOB SUMMARY:

Under general supervision of the Associate Director, conduct community outreach to at-risk risk individuals living in South Los Angeles. Must be knowledgeable of South Los Angeles County (SPA 6) and proficient in working with high-risk populations, networking in an effort to educate, increase awareness, recruit and enroll individuals eligible into the program. Attend provider and community meetings to increase awareness and create referral network among other organizations and groups. Prior work experience in a social services, health, and substance abuse setting is strongly preferred. Valid driver’s license and insurance required.

EDUCATION:

  • BS Degree in a health-related field, Marketing or comparable years of qualifying educational/work experience.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience working within a substance abuse, human service, or social service setting preferred.
  • Advanced in Google Analytics and data analysis.
  • Expert at communicating performance and digging for information in order to create unique campaigns.

SKILLS:

  • Minimum competency in second language, word processing software, good oral and writing skills.

  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse community.
