  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital or related field
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Social Media and Digital Media experience
  • Excellent project management and copywriting skills
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly dynamic environment, under tight deadlines
  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Positive and motivated attitude
  • A self starter that is very organized and able to handle multiple short and long term projects
  • Familiar with influencer/content creator landscape
  • Has finger on the pulse of trends, specifically those that speak to the Gen z demographic (with a strong interest in pop culture and fashion)
  • Good understanding of Digital/Social Media programs and analytics (Google Analytics, Curalate, Social Bakers, etc…)
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)

With over 260K followers on Instagram and over 650,000 fans on Facebook, we’re looking for someone who lives and breathes social media, has a background in both event management and content creation, and who is ready to engage with and grow the Call It Spring community while supporting the implementation of Digital and PR strategies.
The Social Media Specialist works closely with the Senior Social Media Manager to support digital driven strategies, social media programs, liaising with agency partners and bringing Call It Spring to life through a robust content calendar for distribution on key platforms.
The ideal candidate is a social media and copywriting talent with exceptional communication/writing skills, and a natural flair for fashion (preferably experience in the fashion industry). The focus of the role will be on real-time posting, monitoring/reporting, and content development as well as influencer engagement programs. The role will be crucial to drive traffic to our website, supporting the community and telling the Call It Spring story.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Create strategic, monthly social media content calendar in collaboration with Social Media Manager that supports and enhances Marketing, E-comm, Public Relations and Brand Development initiatives
  • Support growth of social channels focusing on engagement and reach via social media campaigns and day-to-day activities
  • Produce monthly social media reports, utilizing social media reporting tools and regularly share feedback/insights gained from social media monitoring with Social Media Manager
  • Measure the impact of social media programs via benchmarking and consistent analysis of the effectiveness of all Call It Spring campaigns to maximize results
  • Develop creative and innovative content ideas for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.) that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Develop copy for daily social posts and publish on all channels, posting and responding regularly across all owned and operated platforms
  • Monitor and engage social media communities via conversations and likes
  • Coordinate with Brand Development, E-commerce and Graphic Studio team, the creation of all visual and video content for social media to support priority collections, seasonal IG stories and trends
  • Coordinate launches of 360 brand projects which includes supporting the social media strategy and managing mailers
  • Research and network potential ambassadors for the Call It Spring
  • Build and vet the brand’s influencer database (to include globally located contacts)
  • Liaise with Customer Service to ensure timely, effective and on-brand responses to customers on social media platforms
  • Manage and coordinate contests hosted on social media platforms
  • Follow the latest and upcoming trends in social media, including tools and applications to ensure Call It Spring is on the cutting edge of social media innovation
  • Coordinates seasonal product samples with the Buying Team on a quarterly basis for PR and influencer gifting.
