Responsibilities:

The Social Media Specialist (GSA / FR) is responsible for growing Razer’s community at an exponential rate through various content and engagement strategies, which will include the crafting of social media posts and responses, along with developing community activations from trendjacks to contests. You are required to have your hands on the pulse of gaming, esports and social media trends to ensure Razer stays in the forefront of its social media game.

Working directly with our wider Community and Marketing Team, the job entails the following:

  • Community Engagement: Manage day-to-day communications on the social media channels of Razer (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok) to grow the engagement and size of these channels exponentially. This includes replying to our fans, content moderation, and enforcing of community house rules
  • Campaign Management: Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote personal brands, projects, or events.
  • Content Creation: Create engaging and tailored content, including text, images, videos, and graphics, across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Tiktok, Instagram, Twitter)
  • Internal Alignment: Coordinate with internal marketing/product teams globally to develop and execute a social media and community strategy, which include content/campaign planning and creation.
  • Analysis: Conduct ongoing analysis and reporting of owned social media (and external channels) to provide industry/landscape insights as well as recommend suggestions for further improvement
  • Localization: Make global campaigns relevant for the German and French speaking community by translating provided content
  • Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
