Description:
SUMMARY
As a Social Media Strategist and Manager, you will be instrumental in shaping our online presence and driving engagement across various platforms. Reporting to the Marketing Director, your role encompasses content creation, management and leadership, ensuring that our social media strategies align with overall business goals. You will leverage core skills in digital marketing and e-commerce, while utilizing premium tools like Hootsuite, Meta and Google Analytics to optimize campaigns. Your expertise in Social Media and SEO will enhance our brand visibility, making you a vital asset in our mission to connect with our audience effectively.
Develop, Implement, and Manage Social Media Strategy:
- Formulate and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Identify and capitalize on emerging trends and platforms to maintain a competitive edge.
Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Establish and monitor essential social media KPIs to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and overall online presence.
Content Management and Optimization:
- Direct the creation and curation of engaging and relevant social media content.
- Edit photos and videos for impactful and visually appealing posts.
- Collaborate with copywriters and designers to ensure content is not only informative but also visually compelling.
Campaign Evaluation and Reporting:
- Measure the success of each social media campaign and provide detailed reports.
- Utilize data-driven insights to refine strategies and enhance future campaigns.
Stay Abreast of Industry Best Practices:
- Continuously stay updated on the latest social media trends, best practices, and technologies.
- Attend relevant conferences and workshops to remain at the forefront of the industry.
Utilize Social Media Marketing Tools:
- Proficiently use social media management tools, such as Promo Republic, to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Multimedia Proficiency:
- Demonstrate the ability to take charge of and direct photo/video shoots.
- Edit multimedia content to meet the standards for diverse social media platforms.
Collaboration and Team Leadership:
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, and Product Development, to ensure cohesive brand messaging.
- Recruit, train, and lead a dynamic social media team.
- Provide constructive feedback to team members for continuous improvement
- Confidently present social media strategies and content ideas to brand leads, ensuring alignment with brand goals and vision.
Networking and Industry Engagement:
- Foster relationships with industry professionals and influencers through active engagement on social media.
- Build and maintain a strong professional network to amplify brand presence.
SEO Monitoring and Optimization:
- Monitor SEO performance and user engagement, proposing content optimization strategies as needed.
Presentation to Senior Management:
- Prepare and deliver insightful presentations to senior management, highlighting the impact of social media initiatives on overall business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience in social media management and strategy development
- Strong leadership skills with a focus on team collaboration
- Proficiency in e-commerce and digital marketing techniques
- Expertise in SEO and keyword research
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience with social media scheduling tools like Hootsuite and Buffer
- Knowledge of Facebook Advertising and Google Analytics
- Excellent proofreading and content management abilities
