Job Description :
We’re looking for a talented and driven Social Media Strategist to join our growing social media team. Reporting directly into the Head of Social, this is an excellent opportunity for learning and progression. You’ll be excited at the prospect of working in a creative agency where social is just one part of a broader campaign, and you’ll partner closely with creatives to bring social ideas to life. You’ll be a champion for social best practice and get those around you inspired by sharing latest social trends. You’ll get the opportunity to work across a range of clients, but your main focus will be on a leading UK retailer where you’ll be able to partner with an exciting client social team who are collaborative and great to work with.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative social media strategies and content plans that integrate within bigger campaign objectives.
- Create social briefs that get creatives excited about developing great social ideas.
- Become a trusted advisor to clients seeking advice on social best practice.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, account management, and analytics, to ensure seamless execution of social media campaigns.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends, algorithm changes, and best practices in social media marketing, and integrate them into strategy development.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in social strategy development, preferably within an advertising agency or digital marketing environment.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.), their features, and audience dynamics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content and articulate complex ideas effectively.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- A collaborative team player with a proactive attitude and a passion for staying ahead of industry trends.
- Proficiency in social media tools and analytics platforms a plus (e.g., Brandwatch, Google Analytics, etc.).
