ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Neil Patel Digital (NPD) is seeking a Paid Social Strategist to help our growing Media team while serving as a trusted resource for our prospective and existing clients. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has experience building social strategies for iconic brands – either as an agency partner or as part of an internal marketing team. You love building strategies that align to key business goals, and you know that no “one size fits all” approach will ever get optimal results. You’ve built social media plans, and equally important, you have the storytelling ability to bring those plans to life. You earn the trust of internal marketing teams by showing them thoughtful insights, compelling strategies, and clever uses of paid social channels to drive meaningful impact to their business.
As a Paid Social Strategist, you will be responsible developing innovative social media strategies, paid social media plans, budget proposals and media flowcharts for NPD’s advertising clients. You will work closely with other disciplines to make sure we are developing innovative, full funnel media strategies that help our clients reach their target audience with a deep understanding of how organic and paid social activations are intertwined. You will also be in tune with major social media trends and provide POV’s to clients of how to navigate the social landscape as a brand.

Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director, Paid Media the Social Media Strategist will be responsible for the strategic approach and campaign delivery to meet clients’ goals and KPIs driving overall success.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop multi-channel social media recommendations based on client objectives
- Create and maintain flowcharts, media budgets, media authorizations, and vendor insertion orders
- Provide internal and external POV’s on current social media trends
- Monitor social platform reach and market demographics / usage trends
- Meet with potential media partners to understand their tactical and targeting capabilities
- Work with media vendors for tracking and pixel implementation alongside NPD’s Data, Analytics & Insights team
- Traffic ad creative through third-party ad server (CM360)
- Supervise campaign performance executed by external media partners, potentially meeting with key partners on weekly or monthly cadences
- Monitor ad verification, brand safety, and viewability to ensure campaigns are being executed by partners as defined
- Reconcile monthly vendor invoicing to ensure it aligns with third-party ad metrics
- Present campaign performance and insights to clients
- Build and foster positive relationships with media partners on behalf of NP Digital
