Currently we are seeking a Senior Social and Economic Impact Specialist - Fixed Term from January 2025 to July 2025
The key purpose of this role is to support the implementation of Auckland Transport’s Sustainable Procurement Action Plan and to deliver positive social and economic outcomes via AT procurement activities.
- Providing or facilitating social procurement training and development for staff and suppliers.
- Meeting with suppliers to discuss and promote AT’s social and economic equity outcomes and design innovative solutions.
- Engaging with intermediaries, such as Amotai, the Ākina Foundation, Ngā Puna Pukenga and Jobs and Skills Hubs in planning for key procurement activity support and capability building.
- Sharing AT’s social procurement success stories.
- Risk and opportunities analysis of social procurement outcomes across AT categories of spend.
- Management of AT’s Emerging Suppliers Programme for civil construction works.
