Description:
Pomilio Blumm is a communication agency with a high specialisation in public and institutional communication at European and international levels.
We’re looking for a Social Researcher & Data Analyst for the R&D Unit based in Bologna, composed of members with different backgrounds. The unit takes care of a wide range of analytical tasks, including quali-quantitative evaluation and assessment procedures related to public administration communication projects and activities campaigns, events, data visualizations, etc.).
The resource will support the team of researchers mainly for quantitative analytical tasks, and will cooperate in strict collaboration with the Senior Data Analyst.
HARD SKILLS:
- Master’s degree in Social sciences / Sociology / Communication / Political sciences /
- Economics / Statistics or any equivalent degree
- Specific understanding/expertise in quantitative analysis
- Strong analytical and strategic skills
- Coding enthusiast, with a basic understanding of statistical programming, e.g. R / Stata / SQL / Phyton
- Proficiency in Italian
- Fluency in English (B2/C1)
- Excellent writing skills

Responsibilities:
The candidate will conduct research and analyse data related to the background of the implementation of communication activities or to the target audiences. Based on their insights, they will contribute to defining effective communication strategies. They will contribute to the design and implementation of evaluation and assessment procedures, such as surveys, and quali-quantitative impact assessment methodologies.
Additionally, the candidate may support the team in the following tasks: automatisation of data processing, creation of interactive data visualizations, communication materials, and pretesting protocols to ensure effective audience engagement. They will also be responsible for drafting reports and presenting their findings through well-designed documents and visualisations for clients.
