Two years of a global pandemic has had a dramatic effect on the health and wellbeing of the nation and the longer term effects on people’s emotional and mental health cannot be under estimated. An exciting, opportunity has become available within our Carmarthen based Mental Health Team, and currently we are seeking suitably qualified & registered Social Workers ( degree in social work, Dip Sw, CQSW) to work in our adult mental health team.
We are looking for enthusiastic and resilient practitioner to join our Community Mental Health Teams in Carmarthen, and welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified social workers.
Working in partnership with service users, their carers and other professionals, you will manage a caseload and practice in a person centred and outcome focussed way. Undertaking assessments, producing and reviewing care and support plans or care and treatment plans will be fundamental elements of your role. You in turn will receive regular supervision and be part of a supportive environment in which there will be opportunities to grow personally and professionally.
The ability to travel within the county is essential.

* PROGRESSION BEYOND PAY POINT £40,221, UP TO THE MAXIMUM OF £44,428 IS SUBJECT TO A PROGRESSION PANEL ASSESSMENT UNDER THE AUTHORITY’S ‘SOCIAL WORK EXPERIENCED PRACTITIONER PROGRESSION FRAMEWORK’*
