Children’s Services is on an improvement journey and as our very recent Ofsted report shows, we have continued to improve despite the pressures of the pandemic and have built solid foundations for future success. ABOUT THE ROLE

The CWD team provides a wide range of helpful and statutory social work interventions supporting our young people. This support is varied, it involves Looked After Children, Child Protection Planning and Children in Need. The CWD team are well established and are managed by a proactive Head of Service who is very ambitious for our children and young people.
