ABOUT THIS JOB
The salary scale for this role should reflect grade PO2 - PO3, £39, 951-£46, 041
The Integrated Care team are seeking one experienced Social Worker to join our innovative Integrated Care Service. You will work alongside a team of highly engaged creative Social Workers who are supported by our Consultant Social Workers and Team Managers. We are committed to support Social Workers who are keen to develop and continue their social work journey in LBBD.
As a Social Worker, your workload will be varied, as you listen to our service users stories. You will be able to fulfil all duties within a safeguarding enquiry process as set out in the Care Act 2014 and within the spirit of ‘Making Safeguarding Personal”. You will provide case management, guidance, support and expert advice to other Social Care Staff and students where appropriate.
We are committed to support Social Workers who are keen to develop and continue their social work journey with Barking and Dagenham.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POST
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and a comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on successful applicants including an Enhance Adults DBS Disclosure check. You will also need a current SWE registration.
“Saturday Duty cover will be expected”.
