KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Social workers will work within school systems to provide services to students to enhance their emotional and social well-being and improve their behaviour and academic performance.
Monitor student behavior.
Assess student behavior according to MOE behavior rules.
Advise and educate students about MOE rules and regulations.
Inform the teacher, supervisor and SLT in case of any incident.
Informs the parent, through the school authorities, about the incident.
Maintain records of all student violation and incident reports.
Encourages and emphasizes on communication in English within the school.

PASTORAL DUTIES

Monitor the wellbeing of all students.
Link students and parents with school community.
Ensure safety of students.
Follow up on student behavior matters referred by teacher, Supervisor or any other staff member.
Support student and parent to understand policies.
Communicate, as appropriate, with parents of students and persons or bodies outside the school concerned with the welfare of individual students, after consultation with Principal.
