We are seeking passionate and driven Social Workers and Rehabilitation Counsellors to join our team across Metro Sydney in our Alexandria, Macquarie Park or Parramatta offices. The role is busy but incredibly collaborative and rewarding and enables you to:
- Assist with an injured person’s recovery, return to work and life following injury or illness;
- Conduct a range of assessment and case management services across various customer portfolios;
- Delivering counselling to people who are grappling with a sudden change in their career goals and circumstances;
- Support people to recover and return to their pre-injury or new employment using your clinical skills and knowledge; &
- Interact and build relationships with health professionals, specialists, employers, insurers and other key stakeholders to drive positive outcomes for clients.
ABOUT YOU:
You will be qualified as a:
- Social Worker (with full AASW membership), or
- Rehabilitation Counsellor (with Full or Associate ASORC or RCAA membership)
You’ll also need:
- Background in case management, and experience in job seeking and/or employment consultancy;
- Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation and/or working with ex-defence personnel (highly regarded);
- Current Police clearance and Working with Children Check;
- Sound communication skills both written and verbal;
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking & problem solving;
- Honesty, integrity, a good team attitude & positive approach; and
- Genuine commitment to continuous improvement.
