Description:
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct case management, work and counselling support and group work for residents under your care
- Conceive intervention plan and execution which can effect positive change in residents
- Work closely with MSF and other agencies on the overall rehabilitation of residents
- Prepare in-depth care plan and other mandatory monthly reports as required by MSF and other agencies
- Plans, executes, and evaluates programmes and services with the aim to improve the quality of life of residents
- Attend case conferences, presents cases for discussion on formal platforms such as departmental or inter-agencies meetings for the purpose of sharing and learning problem solving skills relating to social work
- Attends multi-disciplinary team meetings with medical staff, nurses, and other allied healthcare professionals to discuss, propose and coordinate care plans for residents
- Development and enhancement of work process and administrative matters
- Any other duties assigned by Reporting Officer
Requirements
- Must possess degree in Social Work/graduate diploma in Social Work or Counselling or Psychology
- Must possess compassion, resourcefulness and be willing to work diligently to help in the rehabilitation of male destitute persons
- Registered with SASW Accreditation Board or SAC or SPS preferred with at least 2 years of experience. Fresh graduates are welcomed.
- Good report writing and interpersonal skills
- A good team player
- Willing and comfortable to work in an all-male institution
