THE ROLE
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Social Worker to join the team, working 17.5 hours per week.
Young lives vs Cancer is open to and in support of flexible working. We currently use a hybrid working model. This role falls under the hybrid - variable category. This role is part home, part site based (your contractual base will be both Home and Addenbrooke’s Hospital). You will have the opportunity to work remotely / from home within the parameters of our hybrid working arrangements. Your flexibility requirements and that of the role will be discussed at the interview stage.
The office-based work will be at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, to provide support for children and young people (0-24 years, with a focus on children) diagnosed with cancer and leukaemia, and their families.
This role is subject to a criminal record check. In the event of a successful application a basic / standard / enhanced criminal record check will be completed. This role is also subject to a Social Worker Registration.
