The Lodge Services Supervisor for Soda Springs oversees all custodial operations in the lodge and other areas at the resort to provide an enjoyable experience for all. This individual works closely with employees and the public and then coordinates their team to meet the custodial needs of the resort and resolve problems to ensure efficient and safe operations. With that said, no task is too small as working on Donner Summit means we all pick up a shovel, bump chairs, and pitch in all aspects of resort operations no matter our title or pay grade.

While every day is different and our roles may shift based on business needs, here is what you can expect to dive into in this role as the Lodge Services Supervisor:

  • Ensures all public areas including eating areas, restrooms, lobbies, and waiting areas are presentable to our guests.
  • Leads and manages team to provide the highest level of standards of presentation of the resort for our guests and ensures operational coverage.
  • Understands and properly trains and manages the proper use of cleaning agents and equipment.
  • Attends and contributes to daily operations meetings to gather information on upcoming events and operational changes.
  • Maintains a safety mindset and takes initiative to create a safe environment at the resort.
  • Communicates operational needs and delegates responsibilities to team members.
