Downer has been appointed as the asset manager and maintenance contractor, hard and soft services, for the CRLL City Rail Link project for a period of up to 30 years under the Asset Management and Services (AMAS) contract with Auckland Transport. The contract delivery period commences at practical completion of the CRL project that is scheduled for 2025.
The Service Delivery Manager will play a crucial role in preparing and delivering soft services during the transition to day one operations at three new CRLL train stations: Maungawhau, Karangaa-Hape, and Te Waihorotiu.
Responsibilities include leadership, business and personnel management, safety oversight, and achieving commercial goals. Key tasks involve establishing best practices for services like cleaning, pest control, and anti-graffiti, as well as developing management plans, procuring equipment, and managing specialized cleaning contractors. Once operational in mid to late 2025, the manager will oversee daily operations, ensure KPI achievement, and foster growth in the specialized cleaning sector through new business opportunities and training initiatives.
NGA PŪKENGA MATUA | IMPORTANT SKILLS
- Minimum 2-5 years leading and supervising cleaning contracts across multiple sites in diverse regions.
- Expertise in financial management, client relationship management, and people leadership.
- Preferred trade or service line-based qualifications.
- Ability to establish effective customer relationships and foster a collaborative culture.
- Strong written and verbal English communication abilities.
- Focus on customer service, quality outcomes, and building effective teams, emphasizing shared successes.
