Job Purpose: Perform various tasks to fit auxillary equipment and operate, operate, dispense, mix, monitor, troubleshoot and clean/sanitise machinery according to set standards to meet production KPI’s

Responsibilities:

• Ensure and verify adequate materials and supplies are available at the right quality to complete operations as per job requirement.
• Facilitate movement of raw materials to/from the required production area (raw material returns, or supply to machine)
• Assist in movement of production waste to designated areas
• Maintain a high standard of GMP by performing housekeeping and sanitation of equipment and production area according to relevant SOP’s
• Maintain high standard of safety in the department.
• Adhere to quality and food safety standards according to good manufacturing practices and in line with SOP’s.
• Perform minor maintenance checks and troubleshooting according to relevant SOP.
• Report defective equipment to the departmental supervisors.

Requirements:

Essential:

• Grade 12 Certificate with Maths
• N2 relevant Technical Qualification.
• Valid Reach Truck/Forklift License.
• Basic Electrical knowledge.
• Previous experience in dispensary/mixing sector
