Summary:
The Cross Cloud & Data Engineering (CCDE) Unit within the Global Cloud Infrastructure & Delivery (GCID) organization is seeking an AI Architect to optimize SAP’s cloud infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining architecture for AI initiatives and ongoing projects with a focus on delivery timelines. This role encompasses various domains, including software and systems engineering practices, cutting-edge AI technologies, data management, and UI tailored for AI services. You will work with our AI core team to design and deliver AI-empowered solutions, driving technical excellence in architecture, development, and quality. Continuous learning and growing in new technical areas will be crucial, as well as working in agile, cross-functional teams.
The Role:
As a Software Architect focused on AI, you will be responsible for defining the overall structure of our AI landscape, driving architecture for our AI projects’ consolidation and integration within a single cohesive system, determining how different AI components will interact, selecting appropriate technologies with expertise in end-to-end product processes, and ensuring that the AI systems meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements in compliance with our strategic business objectives, particularly in the area of cloud FinOps toolset landscape. This role also involves collaborating with stakeholders, providing technical leadership, and contributing to the development of AI solutions that align with our business goals.
