We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and architecture, with a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, high-performance systems. As a Software Architect at Ajo Marketplaces, you will play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of our products and ensuring the success of our engineering initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a software architecture role
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud).
• Deep understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and distributed systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure software architectures for our marketplace platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of new technologies, tools, and frameworks.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks and system issues.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation.
