Description:
The Software Services team is looking for a Software Compliance Specialist (Intellectual Property and Piracy), passionate about identifying, validating and enabling the international settlement agreements for Software Intellectual Property Infringers.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:
- Basic NI Software product knowledge is a plus, but it can be trained
- Experience working with international colleagues or customers in APAC is a plus
- A completed degree or in-progress formal education in international commerce, business administration or a technical degree in software engineering (or equivalent) is a plus
Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Partner with internal and external collaborators to review, release and enable the driving to resolution of international SW compliance cases to fight piracy of NI products.
- Review International compliance cases from our partner Cylynt and identify false positives
- Partner with our compliance services supplier ITCA to drive compliance cases to resolution, providing quotes and connecting
- Recommend and then request quotes for SW equivalent products (in multiple regions)
- Create requests for royalty payments for NI compliance partners ITCA and Cylynt
- Identify areas of process improvements and work with manager to implement them.
- Drive a compliance opportunity pipeline in SFDC and grow the compliance program revenue
- Assist external and internal customers with order status, contract management, SW services troubleshooting, and other SW Services inquiries.
- Cultivate effective communication and collaboration with multiple NI departments and groups to ensure opportunity success (Agreements, Account Executives, EA Marketing, Sales, EA Training Support, Legal, Finance and Customers).
