Assignment Description
Our client in the automotive industry is currently seeking a Senior Software & Data Analysis Engineer specializing in Software Download.
Our client envisions a future where our friends, families, and children are transported in a personal, sustainable, and safe way. They build self-driving, fully electric, connected, and safe cars. They are now looking for curious, creative individuals who want to be part of their development journey through innovative thinking.

QUALIFICATIONS:

M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Experienced with agile development and familiar with software development best practices.
Knowledge of Vector CAPL script (C-based programming).
Experience in software development (Python) for enabling automation.
Experience with automated software testing/Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.
Knowledge of distributed electrical systems and electrical architecture.
Experience with test tools such as Wireshark and Canalyzer/CANoe.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

ISTQB Certification.
Experience in SWDL/bootloader development, diagnostics, and Ethernet communication.
Experience with VIDA and VCATS tools.
Hands-on knowledge about writing automated test cases on higher test levels.
Experience in embedded software development (C++).
Basic knowledge in base tech areas: Diagnostics, SWDL, OTA, NM, Network Communications.
Swedish driver’s license (B).
Experience with Zuul CI tool.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

Get inspired by our client’s mission to provide their customers with a better car experience every day.
Use your deep knowledge to test and enhance the SWDL technologies in the vehicle and surrounding systems.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES, TOGETHER WITH THE TEAM, INCLUDE:

Working with SWDL system testing activities and test automation, including updating test cases, methods, strategies, tools, and processes.
Sharing knowledge with implementation teams, suppliers, verification teams, manufacturing engineering, aftermarket, and the IT department.
Supporting the SWDL technology development for the complete SWDL system and electronic control units (ECU) regarding both software and hardware.
