Job Description

ABOUT THE TEAM:

SSENSE is looking for a Developer Level 3 to join our rapidly growing technology team. The Senior Developer will take complex features of the product roadmap, break them down into their required technical components, and develop them independently.
They own at least one component of the SSENSE technical stack and holds accountability for its SLAs. The ideal candidate will actively contribute to knowledge dissemination within the organization, participate in the recruiting and onboarding of new employees, and mentor Junior Developers on the team.

Responsibilities:

  • 3+ years of software development experience with proficiency in Typescript/NodeJS (80%), VueJS (20%). Confident in coding complex features, developing REST APIs, and writing various levels of tests (Unit, Contract, Integration, E2E).
  • Experience with microservices, event-driven architecture, and pub/sub patterns, including developing backend services and handling RDBMS and NoSQL databases at scale.
  • Proficiency in Git and experience with containers, orchestration frameworks (e.g., Kubernetes), caching technologies (e.g., Fastly, Redis, Varnish), and cloud resources (AWS/Google Cloud/Azure).
  • Ability to identify and implement improvements in caching technologies and cloud operations, with certification in relevant cloud services considered a plus.
