Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

Our Engineering Team is looking to hire a Software Developer who thrives when owning their work from concept to production. We’re looking for smart people who are passionate about producing high quality software, who run towards a challenge, and are eager to learn and teach others. We use technologies and frameworks including (but not limited to) PHP, Go, Javascript, React, and Laravel. Experience in HTML and CSS will contribute to success in this role.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Work collaboratively with our Product and Design Teams to build solutions that solve problems and deliver value to our brands
  • Learn and assist with designing, building, and maintaining systems and APIs that scale for high traffic
  • Identify and debug basic/common issues in the software code
  • Own assigned work tasks relating to unit tests, merge requests (MRs), and production releases
  • Participate in all System Development LIfe Cycle (SDLC) activities practiced by the team (stand-ups, reviews, retros, estimating)
  • Participate in user story/requirements discussions
  • Communicate status updates on work tasks in relation to delivery/launch dates
  • Collaborate with other team members to help with resolving incidents and bugs
  • Contribute to keeping team-owned product documentation relevant and accurate
