POSITION SUMMARY

As a Software Developer in our North American Driver and Vehicle Information Systems (DVIS) group, you will play a crucial role in the design, development and maintenance of the software applications that underpin our suite of driver and vehicle solutions for Canadian provinces and territories (AB, NWT, NT) and US states (NY, WI, VA, NC). As part of a cross-functional team of Developers, Testers, and DBAs, you will work on systems that are part of our customer’s critical infrastructure and which ensure the security their citizen’s identity.

QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or similar program) or an equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience
  • Knowledge of the following:
  • Object-oriented programming principles
  • Three tier client-server architecture
  • Agile (SCRUM) development methodology
  • DevOps methodology, practices, and tools is an asset
  • Software development experience
  • Targeting junior to intermediate level, but open to considering senior level as well
  • Experience in a DevOps environment is an asset
