Software Developer- Dublin

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

• Computer Science degree or equivalent
• Visual Studio: VB.Net or C# development
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and reporting solutions – SSRS, Microsoft Report Viewer
• Experience with software engineering best practices (code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, release and change management)
• Experience with web services
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft desktop products, especially Access, Excel & Word
• Knowledge of project management strategy, such as Agile
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem solving and coding skills.
• The ability to talk to your customers and deliver innovative solutions
• Interest with Microsoft Azure, or other cloud computing platform is desirable
• Knowledge of Team Foundation Server, GIT or other source control system is desirable
• Prior experience working on financial services systems is preferable

• Develop and maintain systems to meet the changing needs of the business
• Manage the implementation of new systems and upgrades
• Consult with internal clients and external partners to gather requirements about program needs, objectives, functions and features
• Develop standard and ad-hoc reports for Arachas management team
• Develop and maintain procedures and policies
• Implementation of best practices
• Other projects as assigned by the team lead
