Job Description
The Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) ensures that software is tested comprehensively and early in the development lifecycle, focusing on both functional and non-functional testing. The SDET sets up, installs, and maintains automated test systems, actively contributing to Agile teams

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in setting up, installing, and maintaining test automation systems.
• Experience in testing applications across platforms, including mobile (iOS, Android) and web.
• Strong experience in automating tests using C# and Python.
• Familiarity with GUI and black-box testing, and writing test cases based on happy, alternative, and edge flows.
• Experience in Functional and Non-Functional testing, including “ility” testing (e.g., scalability, reliability).
• Knowledge of Gherkin and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
• Experience in integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps).
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• ISTQB Certified Tester or equivalent is a plus.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Solid understanding of system and product knowledge from both hardware and software perspectives.
• Familiarity with the Agile Testing Quadrants and principles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with an ability to think creatively and abstractly.

  Hybrid regime - 2 days at the office in Ovar.
