Location: You may be based fully remotely, or in our Sheffield or London offices, depending on your location. If you are based remotely, occasional travel to a Fragomen office may be required.

About the team:
The Fragomen Global Development Lab (GDL) is an innovation group within Fragomen focused on developing and supporting technology solutions targeting business travel, mobility, and cross border employment compliance.
About the role:
Our Software Developers design and implement web applications using popular technologies including C# .NET Core, Typescript, and Angular. As a core member of the team you will play an integral part in the design, implementation, and delivery of new features and applications. You will make key contributions and be involved in decision making regarding the technical direction of our products.
You’ll participate in the problem definition and solution process with a diverse group of Developers, designers and business owners from around the company.
Responsibilities will include:
- Support and maintain .NET web apps and APIs
- Support UI/UX using Angular and React
- Evaluate defect reports and analysis their effect system
- Review system errors to identify and rectify potential defects
- Collaborate with various teams within the business and in IT, to ensure the development is consistent with requirements
About you:
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate the below skills and experience:
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with #C or similar languages
- Experience with Angular, React or similar frameworks
- Experience in ASP.NET
- Experience in Tailwind, Javascript, HTML
- Experience in Git Repository branch management
- Knowledge in working with various design patterns e.g. MVVM
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written are MUST
- Sound knowledge of the SDLC and CI/CD process
- Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weakness of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Proven experience in handling multiple deliverables efficiently

Our UK team is made up of over 700 people working across two offices, based in London and Sheffield. Both offices are centrally located in their respective cities, with the Sheffield office having the added bonus of free on-site parking.
