POSITION OVERVIEW:

We’re looking for a talented and driven Software Developer to join our team! This role is ideal for someone who has a solid understanding of software development principles and is eager to apply their knowledge in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As a key contributor, you’ll work on maintaining and enhancing applications, partnering with cross-functional teams to address needs and optimize internal systems. While we expect strong technical abilities, this is a junior-level position, so we’re excited to support your growth as you take on new challenges and expand your skill set.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Applications: Work with modern programming languages (PHP, JavaScript, Python) to build and improve internal applications and services.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Gather and consolidate information from different departments to identify software needs, troubleshoot issues, uncover overlapping processes, and integrate systems
  • Optimize and Troubleshoot: Diagnose and resolve performance issues in existing applications, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
  • Ensure Quality & Security: Write clean, maintainable code and ensure all software adheres to quality standards and security best practices.
  • Stay Current: Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to improve development practices.
  • Document and Communicate: Provide clear documentation of development processes, system specifications, and any changes made.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while managing tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • A growth mindset, with eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
