As part of our team, you’ll design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions that will directly shape the future of transportation. You’ll have the opportunity to solve complex problems in IoT, data management, and real-time event streaming, while collaborating with some of the most talented engineers in the field. More than just technical skills, we’re looking for someone with leadership qualities and the drive to change how the world thinks about traffic technology.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Write and Maintain Code: Develop product or system-level code across the entire codebase, ensuring the software is built to scale, perform, and be easily maintained.
- Lead and Influence Design: Participate in and lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders, making crucial decisions on technology choices that drive the architecture forward.
- Ensure Code Quality: Conduct code reviews, providing feedback that ensures adherence to best practices, performance optimization, and maintainability.
- Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to and evolve documentation and educational content as the product evolves, ensuring that technical clarity remains a priority as the team grows.
- Solve Complex Problems: Triage, debug, and resolve system issues by analyzing the source of the problem, and its impact on the entire system, from hardware to network and services.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work in agile sprints with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, ensuring that product development is aligned with business objectives.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve system performance, refactor legacy code, and ensure our software scales seamlessly.
