SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a mid-level developer or automation-focused role, working with platforms that involve data management, process automation, and system integration.
  • Experience with Air table is not required, but a strong foundation in transferable skills like database design and workflow optimization is essential.
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL is required, with experience in developing integrations and automations through APIs or scripting.
  • Experience in at least one cloud platform (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).
  • An understanding of data processes and experience working with and/or developing ETL processes.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical challenges efficiently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to work across various departments to drive improvements in workflows and data handling.
  • Able to translate business needs into technical data requirements.
  • Well-organized with a systematic approach to work and close attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Software Developer to join our Tech Team and own the development of an Airtable project. This role requires applying versatile technical skills to build, integrate, and enhance workflows across the company, with a focus on product data automation. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in optimizing business operations through process automation, system integration, and ensuring data accuracy, helping streamline and elevate key functions within the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Platform Development & Optimization: Take ownership of the Air table platform, leveraging transferable skills in process automation, system integration, and database management to ensure smooth functionality and effective use across teams.
  • Development & Automation: Build automated workflows such as HS code generators, product descriptions, and SKU archiving using Python and SQL to develop custom solutions, ensuring data accuracy and seamless system integration.
  • Collaboration & Problem-Solving: Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for improving data workflows. Develop and maintain user-friendly interfaces for non-technical users to interact with data.
  • User Support & Training: Provide technical guidance and support to users, ensuring they can effectively interact with the platform and systems, and that their workflows are optimised.
