Description
As a member of the Precision Health Platform engineering organization, you will build and maintain modular, composable, and interoperable platform components. Specifically with the Precision Health Application Framework team, you will build micro frontends used across Verily products, systems for supporting microfrontend development and deployments, and own the front end development experience at Verily.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the development team to design, develop, and deliver new software features across the Verily tech stack.
- Come up with ideas to technical design problems, compare options, and propose solutions.
- Develop using industry-standard tools including GitHub, Google Cloud, Node.js, Typescript, React, Docker, and Terraform.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience in software engineering.
- At least 5 years experience as a software engineer in an industry setting.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively.
- Expertise in building software and systems on any of: GCP, AWS or Azure (GCP preferred).
- Clear written communication, especially in design and architecture documents.
- Familiarity with Node.js and the javascript ecosystem.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise with Node.js, Typescript.
- Prior experience with bundlers (webpack/rollup/esbuild).
- Experience with package management tooling (Bit, Nx, etc) and working in a monorepo.
- Education or exposure to healthcare or life sciences, with emphasis on HL7 FHI.
