Job Description
As a Software Developer at Propra, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying products that drive our mission forward. You’ll learn from and mentor other developers, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and ensure the technical excellence of our products. This role offers the chance to shape the future of Propra, directly influencing the development of innovations that redefine property management.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hand-on professional experience in a full stack environment
• Knowledge of our tech stack: TypeScript, React, Node, Terraform, AWS and Flutter
• Ability to scope and solve difficult technical challenges, writing high quality code
• Drive to both learn from and mentor others
• Experience with accounting or fintech applications is a plus
• Experience at a fast growing organization or a startup is a plus
• Obsessive builder with an intense work ethic and high velocity
• Entrepreneurial spirit with an understanding that everyone must take ownership to ensure success as a team
• Energized by ambiguity and can create structure in a dynamic environmen

• Hands-on application design, coding, and deployment
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues and bugs with urgency
• Contribute to and lead solution and technical design, helping to shape the evolving system architecture and nurture code quality
• Work closely with the product team and other stakeholders to deeply understand problems, to collaborate on finding solutions, and to continuously ship top-quality implementations surprisingly quickly
• Keep up with industry trends and technologies, and continuously improve the development process using new tools, frameworks, and best practices
  This position is based out of our downtown Calgary office, with the flexibility to work remotely as needed to support your productivity and collaboration.
