Description:

Amentum is looking for an experienced software developer to join a high performing team in developing, optimizing and deploying software solutions for client and internal operations. A successful team member is a self-starter with a firm grasp on object-oriented programming, SQL and web design.

Work scope may include any/all of the following duties:

  • Gathering requirements from our customers.
  • Developing new functionality and improving current tools.
  • Create tools that integrate with existing platforms and applications.Maintaining and improving legacy components using the following technologies: .NET Framework 4.6, ASP.NET, C#, Entity Framework 6, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, MSSQL, Azure Devops, PowerShell, Python, Go, Full Stack, Android Studio

Guidelines (level of supervision required to perform):

  • Employee works independently but within the framework established by the supervisor, prescribed procedures and practices.

  • Employee identifies and analyzes important factors and conditions in order to recognize and apply an understanding of interrelationships.Employee decides what needs to be done based on analyses of the subjects and issues related to the assignments and selects appropriate course of action from several acceptable alternatives.

  • Essential Functions: Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, and lifting to 20 pounds. Hand manipulation is required for grasping, pushing and pulling, and fine manipulation. Right and/or left hands utilized. Need to reach and/or work above the shoulder, as well as below the shoulder for same
