We are seeking an experienced Software Developer - SharePoint to design, develop, and enhance enterprise-level software applications in support of a DHS program. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot, integrate, and optimize software solutions across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, debug, and implement software solutions for enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to software applications.
- Research, test, and integrate new software products based on client requirements.
- Lead the development of new software products and major enhancements to existing applications.
- Assess system effectiveness and optimize software for performance, security, and scalability.
- Address challenges related to system integration, compatibility, and cross-platform functionality.
- Collaborate with project teams and end users to gather and refine application requirements.
- Conduct feasibility analyses for future projects and provide recommendations to management.
- Assist in evaluating and recommending application software packages, integration tools, and testing frameworks.
- Respond to software improvement requests and implement enhancements.
- Contribute to the development of software user manuals and technical documentation.
Qualifications:
- Active Secret clearance required.
- Must be able to obtain DHS EOD Suitability before supporting the program.
- Bachelors degree and at least five (5) years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-level business applications. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
- 3-5 years of experience developing business solutions using Microsoft SharePoint 2010 or later, including expertise in the .NET framework.
- At least one (1) year of hands-on experience in custom development using the SharePoint platform, framework, and object model.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SharePoint workflows, Web Parts, and Power Platform integration.
- Proficiency in C#, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders and technical teams.
Posted Min Pay Rate: USD $100,000.00/Yr. Posted Max Pay Rate: USD $130,000.00/Yr. Salary Disclosure: Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications. The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance.
