JOB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS

The Role
Please note that this role is strictly on-site!
Reporting to the CEO – take up ownership of our product, tech stack, and development team — helping drive excellence in our product and technical processes. You will work closely with a Product Lead, you will lead your team in the design, build, and support of business and customer goals in the Growth area.
Collaborate with the Growth Lead to create a product roadmap and develop go-to-market strategies.
Responsibilities

In your first months, you will transform our MVP into a scalable, secure, and engaging web and mobile app that serves our mission and prioritized goals. You will drive the technical solution, leading internal and external developers to:

• Continue development of the existing beta version of the platform which has been developed with REST API, Reactjs, and running on AWS
• Oversee the entire development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, to create a seamless and impactful user experience.
• Establish efficient and effective development processes, utilizing Agile methodologies and tools to streamline workflows and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality features and updates.
• Recruit, lead, and inspire a talented team of developers, engineers, and technologists. Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented environment that encourages creativity and excellence.
• Manage strategic vendor and technology partner relationships.
• Facilitate the development and implementation of systems security failure plans and recovery.
• Implement quality assurance processes, including testing and debugging, to maintain the highest standards of software quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and best practices in software development life cycles.
• Visionary mindset with the ability to align technical strategies with business goals.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate/share/collaborate with peers.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, adaptability, and a passion for leveraging technology to drive positive societal impact.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in software development, including 3+ years in a leadership role and in a fast-paced Startup environment.
• Proven expertise in full stack development, with proficiency in front-end and back-end technologies.
• Familiarity with MERN Stack, PHP, Laravel, AngularJS · MongoDB · Node.js · JavaScript · React.js as well as the ability to quickly learn and work with new technologies.
• Strong design sensibility and experience delivering visually compelling user interfaces.
• Experience with Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) and automated software testing methodologies.
• Experience with Git or similar distributed version control systems.
